Thanks for taking the time to complete a sidewalk audit!
In order to complete this audit, you will need a smartphone and something to measure with. Please pay close attention to your surroundings, and follow the questions closely.
In this survey you will first have questions about the first intersection, then questions about the segment of sidewalk, and then questions about the last intersection. Finally, you will have questions about the quality of the whole segment.
As you are walking the sidewalk, you may notice things that should be fixed right away by the City. We recommend you take pictures and note the address of these issues (such as missing sidewalk, debris, or obstructions) and submit them to the Citizens' Service Bureau (CSB). You can submit these problems via
their website, by calling them in (314-622-4800), or by
Tweeting @STLCSB.
